Lake Union in downtown Seattle is located between Lake Washington and the Hiram M. Chittenden locks. It provides a large number of boat accessible restaurants and monthly lease marinas.  Lake Union and the entire passage between Lake Washington and the locks is a no wake zone with a 7 knot boat speed limit.

Northlake Marina is at the North end of the lake and is next to Freemont Boat Company. Seattle Police harbor patrol Gas Works Park is at the North end of the lake, Gas Works Park marina is next to the park. Sunnyside Avenue boat ramp Ivar's Salmon house has temporary boat moorage to access the restaurant. There's a Fish and Chips take out window here. Morrison's fuel dock is a convenient place to get boat fuel. Chinook Moorage is a monthly lease marina. Sleepless in Seattle house Electric Boat Rental is a good way to explore Lake Union. There are Floating Homes on the east side of the lake. Harbormaster Marina is a monthly lease marina. Marina Mart Moorage is a monthly lease marina. Rock Salt and McCormick and Schmidt are boat accessible restaurants, with a small dock next to the patio. Kenmore Air is the Seaplane base located on Lake Union. The Space Needle South Lake Union park is a Seattle City Park. Chandlers Cove has multiple boat accessible restaurants, including Dukes, Hooters, Anthony's and Blue Water Bistro. Fairview Marinas *** The lower section of the map is the Ballard area near the locks. *** Deadliest Catch Boats can be seen in the Ballard area. The Ballard public dock provides temporary moorage. Stimson Marina is a monthly lease marina. 14th Avenue Boat ramp Fisherman's Terminal has boat accessible restaurants and a fresh fish market. There is also monthly lease moorage here. The ship canal will take you back to Lake Union and Lake Washington
